Campaign Kits - Are they for real or just Pixie Dust?

As you all know by now, LeadOutcome is all about helping you put your marketing campaigns on autopilot, and that is the purpose of Campaign Kits. Campaign Kits are Done-For-You Campaigns that have been designed by a Marketing Automation expert to run for you 24x7x365 days out of the year all on auto pilot.  Campaign Kits work while you sleep; they do not go on vacation, take time off work, call in sick or stop working during the holidays.  They are working for you 100% of the time.

Ok, I am through with my marketing speak....yes...yes...yes.  I am always so turned off when people are pitching to me, sellling to me.  Just get to the bottom of it.  Tell me what it does.  Tell me how it works.  But also help me connect the dots.  Don't tell me there is this magic potent marketing pixie dust that is going to instantly give me new customers.  When you finish reading this article, you will see that it actually does do that, but I am going to connect the dots for you and show you exactly how we do it.

So what is in a Campaign Kit?

The Email Campaigns, 1-Click Emails, Landing Pages, Lead Capture Forms, Custom Fields, Smart Pixels, Tags, and Rules are the tools that a Campaign Kit Author uses to build an automated sales funnel.  The Author uses these tools to capture new leads, engage the lead at strategic points in time to automatically change the way you market to a lead based on the actions they are taking, and to build safety nets that prevent opportunities for you from falling through the cracks.  The Mindmap that is included with a Campaign Kit is the blueprint that explains to you exactly how this all works.

How do they work ?

The process quite simple.  You go to the Campaign Kit Marketplace, add the Campaign Kit that is appropriate for you to the cart and checkout, This results in the campaign kit being copied to your account.  Thereafter all you have to do assign your leads to the newly installed campaigns and you are done!  Ok... this sounds like the magic marketing pixie dust is coming out again.  Hang in there with me.  Let's now connect the dots.

Does it Really Work ? (Measuring Success)

The goal of a campaign kit is to help you cast a wide net, gathering a large group of suspect leads, move your leads through a well thought-out funnel to the point where they have either converted into a customer, or are a reading, willing, and able lead that is ready for you to contact and close into a customer.  And most importantly, do this on autopilot.
 

Let's take a look at a real life example:

We are currently beta testing and tunning the new Affiliate Campaign Kit for Network Marketers to ensure when users of the kit use it, they will see success.  This a free campaign kit we have built for Network Marketers who are interested in selling LeadOutcome.  Network Marketers specialize in selling products for companies like Herbalife, Amway, Tupperware, etc.

The lead history you see below is an example of a Lead who successfully went from a lead to a customer, all on autopilot.  Let's examine it.

The full lead history is at the bottom of this article.  You will want to start at the bottom of the table and walk up each row (this will have you reviewing the lead in chronological order). 

We have summarized this below with excerpts from the history and will show you what we learned about our campaign kit.

Stage 1 - The Warm Up - From 0 to 55

After the lead is assigned to the campaign, she does not respond to the 1st email Row A.  This is reasonable and normal... your email is competing with likely 150 other emails she got the next day, but the kit knows this and and sends her a follow up email the following morning, Row B

This technique is a great way to double your lead engagement.  I know this and can prove it by looking at my Campaign Emails Stats (see below, column 4 with the checkmark).  This is the most important column because it tells me which leads took action.  You can see from the 1st email, 54 clicks, to the second email, where we got 57 click-throughs. 



Now watch what happens in Row C.  She takes action and clicks on the link "LEADOUTCOME -  A LEAD GENERATION, NURTURING, CONVERSION SYSTEM EVERYONE CAN AFFORD".   This is important!  She is starting to warm up.  She is moving from one stage of the funnel to the next.  The Campaign Kit knows this.  So it now removes her from the "LO:AFF: Launch 01" campaign so that she won't get the day 5 email. 

Stage 2 - The Move to Hot Lead

She is now on the LeadOutcome Intro Landing Page.   It explains how LeadOutcome can help Network Marketers and has a quick 2-minute video introducing LeadOutcome.  This information is recorded in the lead history, and we want to note the score of the Lead.  The score is 55.  I now know that leads that follow who have a score of 55 have completed Stage 1 of the funnel.  They are no longer a suspect lead, but a geniuine lead, but I now need the lead to take some additional steps before i am going to classify her as a Warm Lead. 

The action I want her to take is to not just start watching the video, but watch the entire video, and the kit is going use all its power (oh... crap here comes the pixie dust again) to help ensure this is going to happen, and do it... automatically!   Ok, let's break this down.  When she visited the landing page, the LeadOutcome Smart Pixel removed her from the Lauch 001 campaign.  The LeadOutcome Video Smart Pixel (new and in beta) tracks her watching the video and puts her on a LeadOutcome Video Reminder Campaign to come back and watch this video.  She will get this message tomorrow at 8:00 AM with a compelling message and link back to this video.  If she does not respond, she will get another message a few days later as well, but in our case, she decides to watch the video, and not only that, but I know she completes watching the entire video.   When she completes watching the video, the kit will remove her from the video reminder campaign automatically.

Her completing watching the video is an important event and so the campaign kit rewards this lead by automatically increasing the score by 30 points.  Something very important has happened here.  Because she has watched the entire video, she is offically a "Hot Lead" and has moved into the next Stage of the funnel.
 
"I now know Leads with a Score of 120 > are Hot Leads"

Ok let's move on down the road. We are close to getting to our destination... a converted, paying customer.

Stage 3 - Moving from Hot Lead to Paying Customer

The next action I want her to take is to click on the "Lets Get Started Now" button.



Sure enough that is exactly what she does.  So the kit is going to reward the lead by increasing the score by 100.  So I now know if her score goes to 220 that first she is a hot, hot lead.  If she does not convert into a customer, a phone call here will easily nudge her over to the other side.

Now let's look at the next few lines in the history:

Now we observe the most important part of the campaign kit:  The bolded line above.  The description "Dashboard" means:
  1. I have a paying customer.
  2. I know the score is 380
  3. The process took 11 days
  4. I was not involved with any of it.
  5. The campaign kit was working for me while I was sleeping.
  6. It worked over the weekend.
  7. It was all done for me automatically.

Conclusion

Our Marketing Pixie Dust has been completely explained.  I watched every step of the journey.  I can now easily identify a suspect lead from a real lead by looking for leads with a score of 55.  I can quickly idenitfy a Warm Lead because I know there score is 120.  I know Hot Leads have a score of 220, and converted leads to paying customers have a score of 380.  Wow is that cool!

And as a user of this kit, we have added these filters to this kit.

Now let's repeat the process.  Oh wait -- its already in motion!  There is actually quite a bit more this kit does, for example, how the kit will recycle leads that don't make it through: the 80/20 percent rule.   If you are interested, you can check that out in the mindmap.

There are a couple more points to make here.  If you look down below, you will see the full history of this lead.  Another important part of converting a lead to a customer is what happens post sale.  How do we continue to market to this customer? How do we follow up to ensure that she is getting the most out of the product?  Notice how the Campaign Kit moves her down to the "Success Path" video series.

The point here is when looking at your leads, don't stop analyzing the lead's history post the sale; see what actions your leads are taking, what pages they are visting, what videos they are watching, and build addtional camapigns to help them get the most out of your offering.   Performing these actions will result in more constistent, predicatable sales for your business and give you more time to do the things you want!
